Bisexual Baddies

A Triple Bill: Chanje Kunda (Live Art), Kitty Velour (Dance), Afshan Lodhi (Performance Lecture)

A scintillating selection of tantalising performances that are a celebration of PRIDE.

Chanje Kunda presents ‘Celestial Bisexual’ a a live art, multi-media performance, combining large cosmic imagery taken by the Hubble telescope, projected into the space and on her body, combined with dance, movement and out of this world poetic descriptions of bisexual bliss, coupled with euphoria.

Afshan D’Souza-Lodhi Presents ‘How To Eat Mangoes’ a performative, interactive lecture. This sensual piece takes the audience through the intricacies of the mango and unearths the hidden sexual core that sits in the centre of our beings. When our hands are enough to rupture skin, do we bring a knife to a mango fight? Are we afraid of getting messy, of truly digging deep inside flesh and tasting honesty? How to Eat Mangoes is a radical antidote to the narratives of destruction and death that we are being fed by the mainstream media.

Kitty Velour is a pole dance princess, booty-popping showgirl and dreamy aerial bisexual artist from Manchester! ‘My performances are a celebration of female sexuality in its most unapologetic and unbridled form. In a society that often shames female sexuality, I love to push the boundaries . Female sexuality is a gift that is empowering, beautiful and badass.
