Make a zine. Take up space. A zine is a self-published, small-circulation, usually cheaply-produced booklet or pamphlet.
Over Here Zine Fest showcases the talents of zine-makers who are global majority / Black / Asian / people of colour. The organisers are Melissa, Seleena and Heena, three global majority people from Manchester who love zines and wanted to create a cultural space where they belong.
This year’s festival features zine makers Dal Kular, Mits Makes, Sharp Txngue and many others. Our workshops are Mindfulness and Poetry, the family-friendly Peculiar Portraits and a poster-making workshop run in partnership with People’s History Museum.
Free entry, all welcome. Registration optional, just turn up.
Note: All workshops are free to attend, priority will be for global majority participants.
