Please join us for our first public event at 1853 Studios! It will be a first-time opportunity to peek behind the scenes of all the incredible artists, makers and creative businesses currently resident at 1853 Studios. Come along to learn about the variety of crafts happening in the mill including letterpress, printing, painting, stone carving, leatherwork and so much more! You can even support local artists and makers by purchasing their work directly from their studio.
We will also have a debut exhibition of the 1853 Studios artists in one of our newly finished gallery spaces, as well as workshop activities for all the family brought to you by some of the 1853 Studios makers. Stay tuned for more information and timetable of events.
This is a major event for 1853 Studios (having been pushed back multiple times due to COVID19 and other circumstances) so we’d love to welcome as many people as we can to experience our wonderful, expanding space.
