Applications for work made by independent artists in Greater Manchester for 3 commissions of up to £5000 available to finish work for public presentation in July 2025.
MI is looking to award 3 commissions of up to £5,000 each for work which has had some development but needs completing. Decisions will be made by a panel of independent artists.
Work can be in any artform but must be ready for presentation publicly 3 – 20 July in parallel with Manchester International Festival.
There will be training, mentorship, connections and matchmaking on offer with our partner organisations; and on Saturday 5 July 2025 successful applicants will have the opportunity to pitch their presented work to international producers visiting Manchester as part of MIF’s International Weekend.
