Sam Davies is the founder and artistic director of the Untold Orchestra – an organisation focused on building community, creating musical joy and changing perceptions of what an orchestra is, and who it’s for. In his work as a musician, he has been a session keyboardist, arranger, composer and musical director on thousands of projects and performances across the country, working with many of the incredible freelance musicians and creatives that Manchester has to offer. He works as a music educator, a lecturer in creative entrepreneurship and has 10 years’ experience in volunteering in a variety of community building initiatives focused on bringing people together through music, art and discussion.
